Personal MarkingsIt’s your bird. Make it distinctive -– within reason. ;-) For immersion's sake, VMF-124 aircraft are painted in period USMC camouflage. A Paintshop Pro template for the F4U Corsair is available from the Uber Sticky attached to the squadron message board, or you can paint your own ship. Just try to keep your scheme reasonably close to historical livery. Since we're a colorful crew, our aircraft also carry personal markings. Personal markings might include: - Number
- Pilot name
- Aircraft nickname
- Nose art
- Kill markings
Your personal markings are up to you. The only restiction is that you can't take another VMF-124 aviator's number. That includes number 13, which belonged to the historical VMF-124's leading ace, Ken Walsh. Consider number 13 "retired." Also note that, should you wish to paint kill markings on your aircraft, you should only display your current kill streak. Current VMF-124 numbers and names - #4 Loaded Lady
